Our Role

LUCA acts as an Assistant to the Contracting Authority (Project management committee) for our partners. LUCA guarantees the Corporate Image, Budget and Planning of its sponsors through Hospitality projects specialized in the Retail, Tertiary, Hotel, Sport Events and Catering sectors.

Projects

LUCA oversees the different stages of project realization and manages the building sites by coordinating with different professions involved such as prime contractors and general contractors, companies, fitters, craftsmen, and technicians. It also coordinates control bodies such as control offices, technical design offices or public administrative services.

Identity

Creating a brand identity, an architectural identity or symbolizing a user experience allows you to stand out, make a will unique (be uniquely desirable) and make a difference. The customers’ identity highlights the wealth of expertise that transcends each project. LUCA strives to create new identities for its clients, or to respect existing identities, to bring them to life and evolve through concepts and achievements.

EXECUTION

LUCA accompanies its partners in the implementation of the works. LUCA analyzes and produces the documents required for the successful completion of the project. We are talking about documents such as preliminary design documents, final design documents, consultation files, or calls for proposals from multiple suppliers, as well as the approvals for working drawings.

Corporate Image, Budget, and Planning are the 3 areas of a project entrusted to an “Assistant to the Contracting Authority”. LUCA anticipates them and builds them according to their contexts and needs. LUCA's role is to ensure that these three critical areas are respected in the project’s interest, from the first phases until delivery, and including concept creation and deployment.

Scenography
Visual Merchandising

LUCA creates staging spaces to provide a theatrical exposure for a product, an experience, or a customer path. LUCA’s retail expertise enables it to assist its customers in the setting up and visual organization of their sales areas or cultural spaces. Considerations of scenography, merchandising, and visual merchandising are essential to LUCA’s Architecture and Design projects.

Resources

Essential for an efficient completion of a project, LUCA has created a network of like-minded professionals. We are Architects, Interior Architects, Space Designers, Visual Merchandisers and Engineers. LUCA uses and adapts to all the material means of its ecosystem, such as drawing, graphic design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Vray, etc...). LUCA applies an elitist method of recruitment, in conjunction with a management style that emphasizes benevolence and excelling oneself.

Architecture

Volumetry, lighting, color, furniture or materials are all subjects that the team interprets and uses according to its needs. LUCA responds to aesthetic, technical and environmental issues such as: interior space rehabilitation, design of living spaces, composition of an exhibition, or enhancement of a customer experience. Every project benefits from a 360° vision of their know-how in Architecture and Design.

Deployment

As a Retail, Tertiary and Hotel codes specialist, LUCA adapts its concepts to locations, budgets and schedules. We transition theoretical knowledge into practical expertise in a multitude of cases. The deployment of Architecture and Design projects requires extensive know-how as well as a strong coordination of several simultaneous subjects and a situational expertise. LUCA adapts to each case while respecting the established concept.

Outsource

Thanks to a relationship of trust, LUCA’s partners outsource complete or partial responsibilities for the delivery of their projects. LUCA also takes responsibility for the image, budget and planning of its clients' projects while ensuring their coordination and regular reporting, as an architecture and design agency would.

Production

LUCA produces all the 2D and 3D drawings required to create a project. LUCA professionals technically adapt to bring you with the required elements on different oftware’s such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit BIM, and any others as per the requirement. The team works on each phase of the study, from the sketches to the consultation file, including preliminary design, final design and drafting of specifications or guidelines. This principle applies to different scales: from spatial detailing to furniture details, as well as administrative follow-up.

DELIVERY

LUCA’s challenge is to ensure the success of a project and to deliver it according to a concept, a budget, and a schedule. This step is administratively and logistically prepared by the team which convenes the project's players and organizes the total or partial validation of their work in order to transmit it over to the client. This kind of delivery applies in all of LUCA's areas of expertise: Retail, Hotels, Tertiary, Events and Catering.

In fact, since 2012, LUCA has been offering its clients the opportunity to strengthen their teams of designers, visual merchandisers, architects, project managers, and engineers, all making employees available, all exclusively on permanent contracts based on assignments defined by our clients.

Consultants work daily with the clients’ internal teams, , full or part time, offering dedicated skills, extra manpower, speed and operational efficiency. Missions are not limited in time and bring absolute flexibility to projects.

In 8 years, this working method has enabled us to assemble a creative, cohesive, competent, and reactive team.

LUCA STUDIO

Our studio offers you solutions to outsource and manage your projects from our headquarters in Boulogne.

LUCA Studio allows us to be flexible Agile with our customers and our collaborators.

Each member of the studio brings his or her own know-how  and skillsCreativity & enthusiasm are part of the energetic and passionate LUCA community. It is worth mentioning that the Framework & expérience  are provided by senior Architects with multiple backgrounds.

Discipline and methodology allow us to execute and deliver projects in a reactive and efficient manner. We can act  on all phases of an architectural project, from conception to completion. We can also manage  projects by utilizing our business expertise to accompany the technical, administrative and budgetary feasibility according to aesthetic and time constraints.
